Things to teach my daughter

I recently read a blog post by a lady who gave a list of all of the things she would want to teach her daughter if she ever had one. I liked the idea and enjoyed reading it. Some of her views were very different than mine and it inspired me to put my own list together.

30 Things I'll teach my daughters


1.  That it's better to have no friends than ones who don't inspire you to be better

2.  If you want to dye her hair pink, then do it.

3.  Happiness truly is a choice

4.  Good study habits

5.  Spontaneity is how some of the best memories are made.

6.  That stepping out of your comfort zone is the best way to grow

7.  Exercise is great therapy

8.  If he likes you, he'll make an effort. Don't push for something that isn't there

9.  How to act like a lady

10.  How to wear makeup

11.  That real beauty is determined by how you treats those around you

12.  To be friendly

13.  You're problems do not outweigh other peoples problems
